What's the difference between your two bottles?

The difference between the two bottles is firstly their varying insulation capability. Since the sport version is our newer product, we were able to change the material to medical-grade stainless steel, which insulates heat even better. Additionally, the opening of the sports bottle is smaller, which also results in less heat loss. Generally, both bottles have an insulation capability that is approximately 30% higher than other products on the market due to our innovative thermal coating with vacuum insulation.

The second difference is in the design. The stainless steel bottle is somewhat wider or “bulkier”, has the wooden detail on the lid, and has a carabiner attachment and a matching carabiner so you can hang your bottle on your backpack. The sport bottle is designed in a much slimmer fashion and therefore fits into all standard bike holders and daypacks. Both bottles thus have their own unique features.

Does the thermal coating come into contact with the content or with me?

Neither on the outside, which you touch, nor on the inside of the bottle is there a coating, because the material used is of such high quality that no coating is needed. Our special thermal coating is located on the outer wall of the inner body to minimize heat radiation and consists of a copper layer.

The beverage and you only come into contact with food-safe 18/10 stainless steel and not with the coating.

Can I have my product personalized?

Of course - all our products can be customized with a laser engraving. This isn't temporary, but rather your engraving wish will be essentially etched onto the product forever :) You can find our engraved products under the standard menu and then “product name + engraving” where you can also see a preview of what the customization will look like.

Are all of your products BPA / toxin-free?

All our products are tested annually by DEKRA for food safety. This ensures that all your products are 100% okay :) You can also view our certificate on the DEKRA site. All processed seals, etc., are made of food-safe silicone, which is BPA and toxin-free.

Which of your products are thermally insulated?

Our thermally insulated products are our two bottles and our thermal container. Our typical lunchbox is not thermally insulated.

Blockhuette has the first carbon neutral drinking bottle made of stainless steel!

We believe that if we all consume more consciously, our environment can recover in the long term from the high pollution. Therefore, in the first step we want to give you extremely easy to use & qualitatively unbeatable products to hand. So that in the second step you can easily avoid disposable products such as plastic butter bags and plastic bottles. With sustainable everyday products & a conscious decision we can reduce our plastic consumption of an average of 40 kg per year by up to 6 kg! But this is not enough for us! We want to take responsibility for reducing the emissions we generate as a startup with our products and if they cannot be reduced directly, to offset them in the first step. With the double-walled drinking bottles we have chosen a project that helps to provide clean drinking water in India, more specifically Odisha, with the help of new sterilization options to neutralize the germs and impurities in the water.
